Every Friday from October to December expert teachers are sharing the fundamentals of such things as ecology, art, and indigenous culture.
The workshops are open and free to all the children of Rapa Nui and will include integral ecology, painting, agro ecology, dance, music, and a Rongo Rongo workshop. Among the people sharing this knowledge are Juan Pakomio Haoa, Mahina Pakarati, Mahani Teave, and Kara Pate. Each workshop has surprises, rich and healthy food and the dedication to introduce our children to ancestral knowledge and fundamental ecology so they become more integral humans in the future.
This project has been partially financed through different government and private entities. We’d like to thank:
-The Presidential Subsidy which was presented by Chile’s Ministry of Housing
-This Management Plan was financed by a help line for cultural spaces belonging to the Collaborating Cultural Organizations 2020 Program through the Regional Ministerial Secretary for the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Patrimony.
Thank for the constant help of Fundacion Mar Adentro which generates collaborative experiences that tie art and science together through learning, awareness, and action to help nature.
